Disderot 6135GM Wall Light by Pierre Paulin
Designer's Notes
The 6135GM wall lamp, originally designed by Pierre Paulin, is a study in precision and restraint. Formed from a single piece of folded metal, it emits a carefully controlled beam of light—directed, refined, and deliberately shielded from view to create a soft, intimate atmosphere.
Initially conceived for the bedroom, the design has evolved into a versatile architectural element. Installed individually, it offers a subtle, sculptural presence; arranged in rhythm along a wall, it creates striking visual continuity. When composed vertically in sequences of five or seven, the lamp recalls the disciplined repetition of Donald Judd, reflecting a shared pursuit of clarity, proportion, and minimalist elegance.
This edition is produced in France by Disderot as a numbered piece, each lamp accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, underscoring its status as both functional lighting and collectible design.
