Silks, hemps, deep velvets, and beautiful combinations of wool and linen, are all the products of Rose’s own attention to a fabric’s texture, colour and purpose. Made from natural fibres in small mills in the UK and Europe, they are sustainable, durable, and bespoke. For inspiration Rose uses her own collection of antique fabrics, from which she creates her own versions. Or, rifling through the archives of a particular mill, she brings forgotten designs back to life, giving them a modern twist.

Rose Uniacke Fabrics are designed for upholstery, furnishings, wall coverings and drapery whether in a traditional or a modern context. Each year a new collection is designed and put together, showcasing a variety of custom-dyed fabrics in harmonious colours from palest sheers and fine silks, to heavier textured mohairs and intense velvets. For outside there are fabrics made of recycled bottles, sustainably colour-fast and waterproof, hard-wearing and mould-resistant.
