Created in collaboration with London design studio Buchanan Studio, the Neotenic lighting collection is inspired by the craft of glassmaking, curved shapes and a touch of Neapolitan nostalgia – making handmade glass the hero. The Neo Ceiling Light’s curvaceous shade is mouth blown in opal glass and swirled with good-enough-to-eat palette of Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla tones.
When unlit, the swirly glass surface almost looks like delicious confectionery. When illuminated, the light transforms into a glowing pool of colour that washes light elegantly onto the ceiling. Designed for both compact spaces and larger rooms with lower ceilings, the Neo Ceiling Light feels calm and contemporary while adding an appealing contrast of texture and form overhead. Each shade emerges from our Oxfordshire oven with its own swirling pattern and delicate variations, a natural result of the hand-swirled glass that ensures no two lights are ever quite the same. A refined brass cap finishes the design, creating a considered focal point in hallways, bedrooms, or kitchens, depending on placement and specification.
