Designer's Notes
The Rose Uniacke up-lighting shade is made from hand-spun brass and the wall arm sand-cast in brass. To achieve the black colour the brass is patinated using a chemical treatment designed to speed up the ageing process to a certain point to where it stops it entirely and seals the metal. The interior of the shade is painted off-white to illuminate the light well.
