New to DUNLIN - Curtain Hardware.

We can coordinate with your curtain maker as needed and/ or recommend local makers.

Handcrafted in solid brass, the Germaine Curtain Hardware is available in both single and double rod options. The brackets take their cue directly from the Dunlin Germaine light, translating its distinctive form into a functional detail. Each piece carries a hand-finished, timeworn patina that softens the richness of brass into something more lived-in and enduring. No two pieces will be exactly the same.

The hammered brass finals are the focal point, inspired by the sculptural detailing of our Claude and Callot light fittings. Subtly irregular, tactile, and full of depth, they catch the light with a quiet warmth, adding an artisanal layer of texture while remaining versatile enough to complement both classic and contemporary interiors. Matching end caps are available for our double rods.

Crafted for both beauty and performance, the hardware offers smooth operation and reliable support for a range of curtain weights. Each rod is supplied to be cut on site, allowing for a precise, tailored fit in any space. Centre brackets are available and recommended for heavier weight drapery, while coupling components can be provided for spans beyond 1.8 metres.

The weathered finish is intentionally varied, giving each installation a unique, collected feel rather than a uniform, mass-produced look. Custom finishes are also available upon request, offering further flexibility to suit your interior palette.

Our rod features a brass finish that will naturally evolve over time as the rings are drawn. This gentle wear is intentional, enhancing the character of the piece and contributing to its lived-in, timeworn appeal.

Single Rod Set up includes x1 Rod, x2 Single Brackets, x2 Hammered Finials and matching brass screws. 20 Rings Included.

Double Rod Set up includes x 2 Rods, x2 Double Brackets, x2 Hammered Finials, x2 End caps for inner rod and matching brass screws. 20 Rings Included.

Coupling can be added to extend the length. We recommend a centre bracket for any coupling installation.

  • Installation Guidelines We strongly recommend that curtain hardware is fixed into a solid structural support, such as timber framing, window mouldings or suitable blocking within the wall. Where this is not possible, the installer should select appropriate fixings to suit the wall construction and the weight of the curtains. Final bracket placement should be determined by the curtain maker based on curtain style, stack back and site conditions to achieve the desired appearance and functionality.
