Atelier Alain Ellouz

The PLI Alabaster Pendant Light by Atelier Alain Ellouz is a compact sculptural pendant defined by its graphic form and the natural luminosity of alabaster.

Handcrafted in the Atelier's Paris workshop, PLI plays with volume, material and light. Used individually, repeated in multiples or combined with the LAB and FLO pendants, its smaller scale allows for expressive compositions across residential, hospitality and architectural interiors.

When illuminated, the alabaster reveals the natural veining, tonal variation and translucency unique to each piece.

Atelier Alain Ellouz is represented exclusively in Australia by DUNLIN.

Natural Alabaster

Each piece is individually handcrafted in Atelier Alain Ellouz's Paris workshop using natural alabaster.

Prized for its translucency, alabaster reveals distinctive veining and tonal variation when illuminated. No two pieces of stone are alike; variations in colour, pattern and transparency are inherent to the material and give each light its individual character.

Atelier Alain Ellouz's alabaster lighting is crafted using Stonelight®, a treatment developed and patented by Alain Ellouz Paris in 2005 to strengthen the natural stone and enhance its durability and longevity while preserving its inherent beauty and translucency.
