Bondi Beach

Handelsmann + Khaw’s Bondi Beach residence, recently featured on the cover of Vogue Living, is defined by clarity and restraint. Designed in response to its coastal setting, the interiors feel calm and composed. Natural materials, softened tonal layers and carefully resolved joinery create an atmosphere of quiet ease.

There is a sense of balance throughout. Sculptural form is tempered by warmth, and architectural precision is softened by texture. Light plays an integral role, heightening materiality and lending depth while preserving the stillness of the spaces.

The Greenwich Street Spot is available in Raw Tarnished Brass, Blackened Brass and Nickel Plated Brass.

It sits particularly well beside the bed as a considered reading light, precise yet unobtrusive, offering focused illumination while preserving the calm of the room.

The Rue Large Rattan Wall Light pairs beautifully with the Spruce St Spot Light in Raw Tarnished Brass, introducing texture and gentle contrast.

In the kitchen, two Rue Large Sconces cast a warm, diffused light, adding depth and quiet dimension.

Photographed by Anson Smart, the imagery captures the home’s rhythm and restraint with clarity and atmosphere. Styled by Joseph Gardner, the interiors are presented with a light hand, allowing material, craftsmanship and form to speak softly for themselves.
